Kym Lew Nelson, CEO

The KLEW Company was started over 18 years ago by Kym Lew Nelson. Prior to her startup, she spent more than 18 years with the Procter and Gamble Company; 10 years in the area of Purchasing and Procurement as well as 8 years in Brand Management/ Marketing. In addition, she has over 2 years of experience in Strategic Planning consulting at Bain and Company.

As Director of Global Purchasing at P&G, she managed global organizations, global suppliers and global brands. She has extensive experience in developing and implementing both business and purchasing strategies with successes in growing the business and significantly reducing costs. Ms. Nelson also has many years of experience working with minority companies to enhance their ability to become effective suppliers as well as developing strong supplier diversity programs for large companies and institutions.

Ms. Nelson has a MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Stanford University. Kym also is a part time faculty member at Harvard Business School teaching negotiations. She is the mother of two daughters.
